Plans for weekend

Rotorua

On Saturday, the 26th of October i'm going to Rotorua starting from Saturday to Monday. I'm going to Wellington Airport with my Dad, his partner Nikki and my brother. We are picking up people that live in Auckland that are travelling in a plane to Wellington. The annoying thing is it takes 5 hours and 43 minutes to go from Wellington to Rotorua.

The people we are picking up are Cassidy, Cody, Carus and there Mum Hades. Cassidy is 12, Cody is 9 or 10 and Carus is 14 or 15. (I don't know there mums age)

I hope when I go to Rotorua we either go to the mud pools the luge or a glow worm cage.

I can wait to go tomorrow!

Cricket Rounders

Today on the 22nd of October we had Mr Terita/Matua Rocky, with him before lunch we played Cricket. I've never played Cricket so it was a big experience for me.

First, Mr Terita talked about how you play then we got ready to then start playing, my team was the first team to hit the ball and run around the cones as soon as you hit the ball. Every team was cheering for each other.

Everybody then got out because the other team either caught the ball when they threw it or it's because the other team threw the ball into the wicket. After everybody got out the teams swapped. After the last team went and everybody got out it was time to look at the scores. The first team that went got 55 and the last team got 34.

It was really fun and I hope we do it again

Why painting is brilliant

Why painting is brilliant 

Painting is an art activity that shows your artistic skills which is really awesome, it's calming too. When you paint you need a paint pallet, brushes, water to wash out the colour you aren't using anymore and the last thing you will need is just the colours of paint you will need for your art piece.

Painting on the other hand also is making people use there imagination and there own creativity thoughts but the amazing thing is you can do anything you like, you could be doing art to give to someone, for yourself, calendar art for your college or school, even for competitions! 

You can use any colours you want on your paper or canvas, you can make your art piece bright or dark by mixing colours and by using any colours you want.

Finishing your art piece and using all of these bright and vibrant colours is what makes painting awesome.

What I did in the Holidays

On Friday after school finished at 2:00PM, the first thing I did was go to Ailie's house so I could have a ride on one of the horses at her house. The horse I rode was Charlie and then Ailie rode her horse Scooby. It took me and Ailie around 15-20 minutes to tack up the horses then we were on the horses riding  for around 15-20 minutes as well.

We finished riding then put both the saddles, bridles and helmets away. After that we finished putting everything away. She came to my house for around just an hour because it was going to get to late if she stayed any longer. Me and my mum then dropped her back home.

On Friday the 10/10/19, I went to Foxton with my brother Kyle and my mum because my brother was going to a ball. We then dropped my brother off and went back home to have dinner. A couple of days after he went to the ball, the College he went to uploaded a video on Youtube of all of the people coming in on the carpet.

Overall I had a decent holiday.

JW Doug Dragster Car

Hi, my class is reading a book called Doug Dragster, we have to do activities for the book.
One of the activities is to make a car, and this is the car I have made. It's a Limo.

It didn't take that long to make, it took around 10-15 minutes to make.

Maybe you should make a car and post it on your blog if you have a blog!

Folk dance

Hello! My class is doing a dance called 'Strip The Willow' (it's a Folk dance) we are doing it in three weeks. We also have a song we are using to make the dance a bit more better. The song is Disney Mambo No.5! I think the song really matches the dance.

When we do it you have to dress up fancy, or even funny.

This is how you do the dance, you have to have a partner. Line up opposite of each other and when the song reaches a certain beat you turn around with your partner in a circle. Once you finish doing the circle with your partner you do the same with everybody else. So you have to turn around with them as well.

Holes

Holes is a interesting  story done by Louis Sachar, it's about a teenager names Stanley, his last name is Yelnats.

It took him 9 hours to get to Camp Green Lake, he's staying there. He has to dig holes 5ft and 5ft wide. He dislikes staying there, but he pretends he likes it. His friend Zero digs Stanley's holes because Stanley is slow at digging holes. Since Zero digs his holes Stanley teaches Zero how to read.

Zero then went missing, so Stanley tried to drive the water truck to where he thought Zero went, he crashed the water truck into the hole though. He then decided to walk and run instead to try find Zero.

My favourite parts so far is Stanley arriving to Camp Green Lake and Stanley trying to find Zero.
